Outdoor Hispanic Leaders
The OHL program (Outdoor Hispanic Leadership) is a free after-school program for Wood River Middle School students in Hailey, Idaho. The program is designed to foster the personal growth of Hispanic youth and their communities by providing weekly adventures and an engaging curriculum. Spanish-speaking teachers and mentors impart outdoor and leadership skills, while also helping students develop their academic skills and self-confidence.

Each week, students participate in a different outdoor adventure, such as hiking, camping, rock climbing, or whitewater rafting. They also participate in a variety of activities that promote leadership and teamwork, such as teambuilding exercises, public speaking workshops, and service projects.

The OHL program has been very successful in helping students develop their outdoor and leadership skills. Students have reported feeling more confident and capable, and they have developed a stronger sense of community. The program has also helped students improve their academic performance.

Outdoor Hispanic Leaders is funded by the Cimino Foundation.
