Along the Big Lost River at the base of Mt. Borah, lives are changing.
There is a place where children learn, people gather and exist in harmony with the land.

How
We are looking to create a facility that will be in opperation, 40 out of the 52 weeks per year, as an educational facility, but will look and feel like an upscale spa retreat center. Every part of the design and construction of the facility will be an example of how to live in balance with nature. This will include, renewable energy sources, organic gardens, healthy breathing wall buildings and water purification systems.
What
Idaho BaseCamp is a facility dedicated to education, creative expression and the development of a sustainable relationship with nature. Our aim is to expand the understanding and create a working consciousness for the environment, community and Self.
As stewards of the land, our primary mission will be to teach how to live in balance with the environment in a nature based classroom setting. In the building of an eco-retreat center, we envision a space where healing arts and experiential education are at the forefront of our ever-evolving relationship with Self and the natural environment around us.
Who
Learners: University, public and private school students, continuing education for professionals and people seeking self-awareness and environmental education.
Retreats: The facility can be rented out for private workshop and conferences.
Tourism: Idaho BaseCamp will be the premier eco-village in Idaho.
