THE COMPETITION
Idaho BaseCamp’s Sun Valley Single Fly is a family-friendly fishing tournament, where anglers compete for the most impressive day on the Big Wood River in Sun Valley, Ketchum, Hailey, and Bellevue.
THE CATCH
Anglers can only fish for two hours in a 24hr period starting Friday, July 25th, and can only use a single fly to compete with. If that fly is gone — or your two hours are up — you're done! Scores are calculated on the number and size of fish caught and released.
THE CAUSE
More than just a fun day on the river with friends and family — and an opportunity to win great prizes and bragging rights — proceeds from the Sun Valley Single Fly benefit the Sahm 5th Grade Outdoor Adventure Program, which in 2024 served over 430 students from six Idaho counties.
